Association of Career Professionals International New England Dinner Meeting:

BRANDING & POSITIONING - Using Print and Broadcast Media

February's ACPI-NE meeting will focus on how we market and brand ourselves as career professionals through publishing articles, commentaries and books, and by positioning ourselves as subject matter experts on job and career topics with the print and broadcast media.  In this fun and interactive session learn:

•  Where and why to publish
• How to use client engagements as the basis for articles and case studies
• How to pitch article/story ideas to editors
• How to turn articles and books into radio and TV interviews
• How to talk to reporters about job and career topics
• The myths and misnomers about being on radio and TV
• How to build long-term relationships with editors and reporters

PRESENTOR: Rick Koonce, president of Richard Koonce Productions Inc. in Newton, MA.  A credentialed executive and career coach, Rick is the author or co-author of five books and over 150 articles appearing in business and trade press.  Rick was also a regular commentator on jobs and careers for Public Radio's popular business program "Marketplace" and a member of ACPI New England!
