CCC Mission Statement The Career Counselors' Consortium promotes the professionalism and advocacy of career counseling by providing an open forum for communication and training, and an opportunity to connect regionally and locally in our community. We achieve this by offering cutting-edge programming on relevant topics of interest that advance learning, professional development, and industry best practices.
Goals and Objectives
About Us The Career Counselors' Consortium holds several meetings and additional events annually to facilitate members’ and guests’ professional development, and provide opportunities for networking. Members are both seasoned counselors and those new to the field. Each event focuses on a relevant topic within the career counseling field.
We provide resources for newcomers to learn more about the field of career counseling and an opportunity to network with experienced career counselors. We co-sponsor workshops and networking events to broaden the knowledge of our members and promote professional excellence.
The CCC is an approved provider of continuing education activities by the National Board of Certified Counselors (NBCC). The NBCC examinations are used by more than 40 states to credential counselors on a state level. We are one of the oldest career counseling professional organizations in the Northeast.
The CCC is a registered non-profit 501(c)6 corporation as recognized by the IRS. Our Federal ID Number is: 04-3578472.
