CCC Mission Statement

The Career Counselors' Consortium promotes the professionalism and advocacy of career counseling by providing an open forum for communication and training, and an opportunity to connect regionally and locally in our community. We achieve this by offering cutting-edge programming on relevant topics of interest that advance learning, professional development, and industry best practices.

Goals and Objectives

  1. Create opportunities for members and guests to express thoughts, ideas, resources and challenges.
  2. Offer seminars responsive to developmental needs of the career counseling community.
  3. Develop website links related to career counseling, career transition, job search process, academic resources, and other sources of information including the CCC LinkedIn group.
  4. Create a referral system for potential clients to locate/identify career counselors.
  5. Expand membership and visibility by collaborating with affiliated organizations.

About Us

The Career Counselors' Consortium holds several meetings and additional events annually to facilitate members’ and guests’ professional development, and provide opportunities for networking. Members are both seasoned counselors and those new to the field. Each event focuses on a relevant topic within the career counseling field.

We provide resources for newcomers to learn more about the field of career counseling and an opportunity to network with experienced career counselors. We co-sponsor workshops and networking events to broaden the knowledge of our members and promote professional excellence.
