Do your stories make an impact? What internal messages are holding you back?
Storytelling requires us to examine the origins of our internal messages.
Part of our role as career development professionals is to help our clients and students showcase their accomplishments and brand themselves effectively. Great storytelling leads to productive networking, successful interviews, and meaningful presentations. Modeling this for your clients and students can make all the difference in their approach.
In our discussion of Your Stories Don't Define You, How You Tell Them Will, Sarah Elkins and Jessica Dow will ask you to explore your own internal messages, and then offer you an opportunity to uncover and share one of your stories!
The book is available at bookshop.org, amazon.com and as an audiobook.
