Event Description
Neurodiversity awareness continues to grow, and as a result career, recruiting, and human resources professionals are increasingly navigating complex questions around disclosure.
- Why might someone choose not to disclose?
- When might disclosure become relevant during the hiring or employment process?
- How can professionals thoughtfully support someone considering this decision?
- And how can career professionals proactively prepare to support disclosure?
In this interactive session, we will explore the many factors that influence disclosure decisions and discuss why some individuals choose not to disclose at all.
We will also examine how self-knowledge fosters selfadvocacy, empowering individuals to request accommodations or adjustments when needed.
Participants will leave with greater confidence navigating employment disclosure with clarity, comfort, and actionable
guidance.
